TeamDynamix People Import Process

Objective

The TeamDynamix People Import Process is a scheduled automation that ensures employee and student accounts are regularly updated in the system.

 

Details

  • ADRECON, a nightly job, prepares account data:

    • Runs daily at 10:30 PM for employees
    • Runs Thursday nights from 12:30 AM to 7:00 AM Friday for students

  • Teamdynamix Format Import Files Generation:

    • Employee-list.ps1 runs at 3:00 AM daily to generate the Employee Data File
    • Students-list.ps1 runs at 4:00 AM every Friday for Student Data File

  • TeamDynamix Import Job:

    • ProdPeopleImporter.bat runs at 5:00 AM daily to import the generated files into TeamDynamix and run the import process

 

Ownership & Support

  • The SysAdmin team owns the attached shell scripts and are responsible for running the import process on schedule.
  • If the process fails, contact:
    • Support Services as a Tier1 Support
    • SysAdmin team for job execution issues as a Tier 2 Support
    • TDX Admins/PMO Office/Support Services for TeamDynamix configuration or import errors
  • The AppDev team owns the source data used to generate the import files.

This structured work-flow ensures timely updates to user records with minimal manual intervention, supporting accurate access and service delivery across systems.

 

File Location

The TDX Formatted People Import Excel Files are stored under Network Folders. The server is \\tdxsync. The share is \peopleimports. Start run enter \\tdxsync\peopleimports or map a drive to \\tdxsync\peopleimports
