Contents

1. Navigate to Dashboard Management

  • Log in to TDAdmin.

  • In the left navigation, expand Dashboard Templates Dashboard Templates.

    • You’ll see a list of Dashboard Templates (these are the admin-level dashboards you can push out to users)

2. Create a New Dashboard Template

  1. Click + New.

  2. Give the dashboard a Name and optional Description.

  3. Save — this opens the dashboard editor.

Now you can configure it:

  • Add Rows → choose layout (full width, half/half, thirds, etc.).

  • Add Widgets → select reports, charts, or HTML modules.

  • Drag and drop to arrange.

  • Click the gear icon to adjust settings:

    • Auto-refresh

Save when done.

3. Assign Dashboards to Users

You have two main ways:

Assign to a Single User

  • TDAdmin → Users & RolesUsers → select the user.

  • Go to the Dashboards tab.

  • Click + New → choose the dashboard template.

  • You can decide if it’s Linked (user sees updates when you edit the template -- PREFERRED) or Unlinked (user gets their own copy).

Assign to Multiple Users

  • TDAdmin → Users & RolesUsers.

  • Select the users you want.

  • From Actions, choose Add Dashboard.

  • Pick the template and assign (linked or unlinked).

4. Managing Dashboard Templates

From the Dashboard Templates area in TDAdmin you can:

  • Edit → select the specific dashboard to change layout, widgets, settings.

  • Delete → remove the template (doesn’t delete copies already pushed out).

5. Best Practices (Admin Side)

  • Use linked templates if you want to centrally manage a standard dashboard and push updates automatically.

  • Use unlinked copies if you want to give users a starting point but let them customize.

  • Make sure all reports/widgets you add are shared with the users/groups that will see them, or they’ll get blank sections.
