Overview
Microsoft Teams meetings can be recorded and shared with students through Canvas using a link to the recording.
Start Recording
- Join or start a Teams meeting.
- Select More Actions (⋯).
- Click Start Recording.
Stop Recording
- Select More Actions (⋯).
- Click Stop Recording.
Access the Recording
Once processing is complete, the recording will be stored in OneDrive or SharePoint depending on the meeting type.
Share the Recording in Canvas
- Locate the recording in OneDrive or SharePoint.
- Select Share.
- Copy the sharing link.
- Open Canvas and navigate to the desired course.
- Add the link to a Page, Assignment, Discussion, or Module.
Important Notes
- Verify that students have permission to access the recording.
- Review sharing settings before posting the link.
