Where Can I Get It?
The Event AV Support service provides comprehensive assistance with audio-visual setup, equipment, and technical support for university events. To ensure a smooth and successful experience, users must submit a work request well in advance of the event. The dedicated team member will then evaluate the request, confirm all necessary details, and prepare the required equipment for the event. Additionally, a team member will reach out to confirm specific details and gather any additional information if needed.
For large-scale or high-profile events, a meeting will be scheduled between the requester and the Academic Computing team to capture all event requirements accurately.
On the day of the event, OIT staff will arrive 30 minutes before the event starts to assist.
Note: It is very important to include the event organizer's information, including their email and phone number, in the work request.
How Do I Use It?
A member of the Academic Computing will be available to assist with equipment on how to use it. For self-service events, instructions are posted in the room on how to use the equipment, or the Academic Computing team will provide training prior to the event.
