Use the following procedure to quickly recover deleted course content in Canvas using the hidden /undelete feature—no support ticket required!
Step 1: Open Your Course
Log in to Canvas and navigate to the course where the content was deleted.
Step 2: Access the Hidden /undelete Page
In your browser’s address bar, add /undelete to the end of the course URL.

Step 3: View Deleted Items
The page will display a list of recently deleted items such as assignments, pages, quizzes, and modules.
Step 4: Restore Content
Click Restore next to the item you want to recover. The item will return to its original location in the course.
Step 5: Verify Restoration
Navigate back to the relevant section (Assignments, Pages, Modules) to confirm the item is restored.
