Summary
Many faculty members using Canvas find it frustrating that they cannot easily combine images and text on a Canvas page in a visually appealing way. They often want to place an image on a page and have text wrap around it.
How-To
Task: Combine an image and text on a Canvas page so that the text wraps around the image.
Instructions
Step 1
Go to the Canvas page and click the Edit button.
Step 2
Add an image to the Canvas page.

Step 3
Add some text below the image on the Canvas page.

Step 4
Click the HTML Editor icon [</>] located just below the right side of the Rich Content Editor (RCE).

Step 5
Find the HTML code for the image on the page (it should look like the following code snippet) and place your cursor right after "<p>."

Step 6
Paste the following code snippet where your cursor is located.
<img style="padding: 0 15px; float: left;" />

Step 7
Click the HTML Editor icon [</>] again to switch back to normal view and check that the text wraps around the image.


Step 8
Scroll to the bottom of the Canvas page and click the blue Save button.
