Prerequisites
- Access to Articulate Storyline software
- A completed Storyline lesson ready for publishing
- Canvas LMS course shell with instructor permissions
- SCORM integration enabled in Canvas
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1 - Configure Storyline Settings
- Enable quiz-based tracking if assessments are included.
- Activate the “Exit Course” link for proper completion.
- Hide the cover page for streamlined navigation.
Step 2 - Publish the Lesson
- Select Publish in Storyline.
- Choose LMS as the output option.
- Set the format to SCORM 1.2 or xAPI (Tin Can) based on Canvas compatibility.
- Confirm reporting and tracking settings.
Step 3 - Export the SCORM Package
- Save the published package to your local drive.
- Verify that all required files are included.
Step 4 - Upload to Canvas
- Navigate to your Canvas course.
- Go to Modules or Assignments (depending on your design).
- Select Add SCORM and upload the package.
- Configure grading options if applicable.
Step 5 - Test the Integration
- Launch the lesson from Canvas.
- Confirm that progress and scores report correctly to the GradeBook.
