Summary
OIT’s Instructional Design and Technology (IDT) team has created a Canvas module that any instructor can access to place the College of Business’ (BUS’) academic honesty resources and/or the end-of-course evaluation information and link in their Canvas shell(s). All 100% online courses in the College of Business (BUS) are required to have and use the college's Academic Honesty Resources in their Canvas shells. Although not required, BUS faculty teaching non-online classes and faculty from other colleges are welcome to use the resources at their discretion.

The following procedure outlines how to access and import the UHCL BUS Resources from the Canvas Commons into a Canvas course.
Step 1: Navigate to the Canvas Commons
- Log into Canvas and click the Commons option on the global navigation bar.

Step 2: Search for the Module
- At the Commons screen, locate the search field and type UHCL into it.

Step 3: Select the Module
- Click UHCL BUS Resources Module (2023) tile.

Step 4: Locate the Import/Download Button
- Click the Import/Download button on the right side of the screen.

Step 5: Select the Destination Course(s)
- At the resulting Import/Download screen, click on the course(s) to which you want to copy the BUS Academic Honesty Resources. Then, scroll to the bottom of that window and click the Import into Course Button.

Step 6: Confirm the Import
- You should then see a green horizontal bar near the top of the screen with the message, “You have successfully started the import! It may take a little while to see changes in your course.”

Step 7: Check the Destination Course(s)
- Wait about 5 minutes and then check your destination course(s) to confirm that the module was copied to the bottom of your Modules page.

Step 8: Reposition the Academic Honesty Resources Module
- If you need to deploy the BUS Academic Honesty resources, move the module from the bottom to the top of the page. It must reside above the folders requiring students to complete the Academic Honesty Quiz before they can see those folders.

Additional steps for deploying the IDEA end-of-course survey link and using completion of the Academic Honesty Quiz as a prerequisite for other course modules are available in the Additional Resources below.
