Task: Sync Canvas Calendar with Your Preferred App

Step 1: Get Your Canvas Calendar Feed Link

• Log in to Canvas with your UHCL credentials.
• Click Calendar in the left-hand (global) navigation.
• On the right side of the calendar page, click the “Calendar Feed” link.
• Copy the iCal URL that appears.

Step 2: Add the Calendar Feed to Your App

Google Calendar

• Open Google Calendar.
• Under Other Calendars, click the “+” icon.
• Choose “From URL”.
• Paste the Canvas iCal URL.
• Click Add Calendar.

Outlook Web Calendar

• Go to your Outlook Calendar (web version).
• Select Add calendar > Subscribe from web.
• Paste the iCal URL and name your calendar.
• Click Import.

Apple Calendar (macOS/iOS)

• Open the Calendar app.
• Click File > New Calendar Subscription.
• Paste the Canvas iCal link and click Subscribe.
